I Love Kid Art!

Just take a look at some of the great dyeing and weaving "my" kids at school did!!

This lesson incorporated several senses.
- Eyes: colors, patterns, texture
- Fingers: soft wool, rough sticks, motor skills
- Nose: Kool-Aid, rosemary, lavender

The kids were so creative and the results were great! Love!!

Mixing our Kool-Aid colors to dye the wool.

His favorite color is green!!

Group weaving fun!

This is great! Do you have a tutorial??

I too, would love to have a step-by-step tutorial for making this. We do a rendezvous at the end of the year and this would be great! Also, how long does this take from beginning to end - dying etc. And where can I buy the wool?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jan, we did this project in art camp last week and I was wondering if it was ok if I wrote about it on my blog. My blog is artbarblog.com. I would mention that the idea came from you and link to this post. Let me know if this is ok! You can email me at hello@artbarblog.com. Thank you for inspiring all of us! xo Barbara
