:Pink Socks

These are far too warm to wear today, but I'll be happy to have these cheerful woolies this winter. Knit in my own hand-dyed yarns, I designed them as I went. They are knit from the top down and have a simple eyelet stitch in the leg portion which adds to the "slouchy" look.

Those are great socks and I love the colors. You did it all by yourself...hand-dyed, pattern and all.
I knit, though not this summer, but I have never knit socks. Using double pointed needles has me stumped..but one of these days, I am going to learn how. I have tried to use them in the past for a felted bag. I cannot tell you the frustration I had and I certainly won't disclose the language that I used while trying to use them. I gave up and did it "my way". I am determined to learn...maybe this winter.
Those socks are super!
I hope this is not the second time for the same post...these letters...
